Pilots will work toward progressively longer and more independent flights as conditions allow.

MINIMUM PILOT REQUIREMENTS
Pilot Rating
• USHPA P3 (Intermediate) or higher
Experience
• Thermal and XC experience required
Safety Background
• Minimum of 1 completed SIV course (required)
Equipment
• EN-B glider or higher
• Airworthy gear in excellent condition
• Harness with back protection
• Reserve parachute (repacked within 12 months)
• Helmet
• Radio (required)
• GPS/vario
• Satellite tracker (required; preferably Garmin inReach)
Mindset
• Willingness to follow guidance and fly within a structured group
• Conservative decision-making and strong situational awareness
